Frank & Miriam Gross Playground

The previous owner - Fritz's Gross and his dad Frank built the campground from 1995 until 1997. They would spend a few weeks at a time tramping through the brush, weed whacking blackberries with Fritz's wife Kathy, as would measuring sites. Frank's health deteriorated and his trips to ODKOA became less frequent. He also really enjoyed watching our young campers play in our very plain playground. While he was able, he talked about the jungle gym he would like to build. Our playground is dedicated to the memory of Frank and his wife Miriam. Fritz's Mom passed away in 1994 and never got to see the campground.
